CO M. McIntosh has been with the Department of Corrections since 2013, and he is currently at GRVC. He has been with the United States Air Force Reserves for 9 years. At the rank of E-5, his currently with the 714th Maintenance Squadron as an Integrated Avionics Technician. As a part of NYCD S.O.C.O.M., CO McIntosh is humbled by the opportunity to serve. CO Nieves joined the New York City department of corrections on March 5, 2015. She has been assigned to GRVC from the start but has worked in the Recruitment Unit, CID, and FMRD. And is now the secretary of the fraternal organization SOCOM. Airmen First Class Nieves joined the Air National Guard on March 6, 2018 and Graduated the Security Forces academy July 17, 2019. She is stationed at the 106 Rescue Wing out in West Hampton Beach Long Island.
C.O. Missigher has been retired from the United States Army National Guard as an E5 since 2015 with 20 years of faithful service as a (92A) Automotive Logistics Specialist. She served one tour in IRAQ (OIF III) in 2004. She joined the New York City Department of Corrections in 2007 and is currently assigned to AMKC. She is a member of the NYCD ceremonial unit and the special search team.
CO G. Myers has been with the NYC Department of Corrections for the last 16 years and is currently assigned to the Transportation Division, State Unit. He served his country in the United States Naval Reserves completing his commitment in 2006. He attained the rank of E-5 with the designation of Master-at-Arms. As part of of the NYCD S.O.C.S.M, CO Myers will help the executive board broaden its horizons and represent the organization in the Transportation Division. He is eager to serve and to continue to serve his country and mission of the fraternity.
Correction Officer Burris join the military early entry program in the year 1981. After graduating from Martin Luther King High School in 1982, CO Burris joined the army active sector and served active duty from 1982 to 1992, as a Communication Specialist. After serving active duty time CO Burris joined the New York National Guard “369th Harlem Hillfighters”, in which CO Burris is also a member of their sergeant association. CO Burris is recently assigned to the 187th Singnal Company in Farmingdale, New York as a Platoon Sergeant. CO Burris has been overseas several times and has served the military for approximately 30 years. CO Buuris is proud to be in the military and to serve the country that we have helped build.
C.O. Kenneth J. Burris
CO Allotta has been a member of the Department of Correction since March of 2015 and is currently assigned to the West Facility. Officer Allotta served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000 to 2004, earning the rank of Corporal E-4. He has been deployed twice during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Allotta is a volunteer and sits on the board of the Harlem Youth Marine Cadets. An organization with 39 years of service keeping the youth off the streets and out of gangs through military discipline and leadership. He holds the rank of cadet Major and is the training and event officer of the program. As a member of SOCOM, he is dedicated to helping his community and fellow service members in all aspects of life.
